I am determined to see as much of the world as I can! So while calling traveling a "hobby" may be a bit ambitious, it is honestly something I am passionate about. Cultural education is crucial in this globalizing age, and appreciating the beauty and complexity of this world and its people is something I am determined to do.
Currently: I am spending my free time arranging some piano pieces, hiking and biking more, writing poetry, rereading some of my favorite books and brushing up on the classics.
From a young age I have enjoyed reading, piano, singing, and multiple art forms. My artistic talents have secured me positions in organizations as well as employment. As I grew older I ventured into other hand skills such as sewing, quilting, crochet, and embroidery. I am also involved in service and pre-professional organizations.
I played many sports growing up, but after a few surgeries I have had to limit my physical activities. I still enjoy walking with my dogs, camping, skating, and hiking.
